Wide Trimmings Belt – Lacing

A wide lace-up belt that cinches the waist and adds polish to any outfit. Its corset effect slims the silhouette and adjusts with a cord for a made-to-measure hold. Wear it over a dress, a tunic, an oversized sweater, a loose shirt, a jumpsuit or high-waisted jeans — and just as well over a kaftan.

Material & construction — A passementerie belt (woven band) mounted on a structured rigid base and backed with leather or suede for a clean finish and good hold. The woven face varies by color:

• Solids: threads braided or wound over cords, with an even relief (ribbed or chevron effect depending on the style).
• Striped (mixed): multicolored cords and braided sfifa placed side by side, edged with a fine chevron braid on both sides.
• Black: a black braided trim adorned at its center with a decorative wound-cord motif.

How to wear it — At the waist or slightly above to emphasize the curve, over a fluid piece to create contrasting volume, or over a jacket to close off a silhouette.
