LOCATION IN PARIS
To rent a caftan, please follow these simple steps:
• Select the desired model on our “Rental” page.
• Choose your rental dates according to your event.
• Make an appointment for a fitting in store ( link ).
• To make the rental reservation, contact us by email at customerservice@selhyan.com
In person at 46 rue Alexandre Dumas, 75011 Paris or send us a direct message on Instagram.
• Before proceeding to secure payment for your rental, please review and accept our General Rental Conditions (GTC) on our website. Payment confirms your full agreement with the GTC.
Payment for your rental can be made online by credit card (CB, Visa or MasterCard), in cash during your visit to the store, or via Klarna to benefit from payment facilities. All your transactions are secure and comply with current regulations, guaranteeing strict protection of your banking data. In addition, we offer secure payment links.
The deposit amount is clearly indicated on the booking page, in the product description.
We will make a bank imprint on your account to guarantee the rental of the outfit.
This imprint serves as a deposit and the funds will be returned as soon as the item is returned in good condition.
In the event of damage, we will partially or fully retain the deposit.
***Please note that we do not accept security deposit checks.
No, you cannot cancel your rental. When booking your dress with the deposit, we engage with you to guarantee the availability of the model for the agreed date.
In this case, we cannot refund the deposit.
Additionally, please note that we do not perform model exchanges, event date changes or credit issuance.
We understand that accidents happen. If you damage the dress, please notify us as soon as possible at customerservice@selhyan.com .
Damages that we consider minor and superficial are taken care of by us, but if the damage is more significant and prevents the reuse of the dress, we will partially or completely retain the deposit.
Additionally, in the event of non-return of the dress, theft or loss, additional charges will be debited from your account.
We currently offer a standard rental from Thursday to Sunday, which is a duration of 3 days.
However, if you have specific requests for a longer duration, please contact our Customer Service at customerservice@selhyan.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
***Please note that additional days are charged at €40 per day.
We recommend that you leave your kaftan in its last condition as our team will take care of its professional cleaning after its return. We ask that you do not wash or clean the kaftan yourself, as this may damage the fabric or embellishments. If you have any smudges or minor issues, please let us know and we'll do our best to resolve them.
DISTANCE RENTAL
We offer rental services in France and the European Union. We provide delivery throughout France (excluding Corsica and French overseas departments and territories) using the DHL Express service at a relay point. You will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your package's tracking information.
We make sure your product is shipped so that you receive the product on Thursday for your Friday-Sunday rental. Make sure to book at least 7 business days before your event date so that we can prepare and deliver your outfit on time.
Your rental return must be made no later than Monday. To return your outfit, follow these steps:
• Place your item(s) in the cover provided.
• Attach the return label to the outside of the package.
• Drop off the box at the DHL relay point of your choice.
In case of non-compliant or late return, penalties may apply. If we receive a damaged part beyond the usual superficial damage, we will retain 100% of the deposit. If you do not return the reusable cover, additional costs of up to 10 euros may be charged.
We offer remote rental throughout France (excluding Corsica and French overseas territories), as well as in the European Union. We are actively working to extend our rental service to the rest of the world, so that more people can enjoy our quality products.
We encourage you to respect the specified return deadlines. If you have any problems returning the dress on time, please contact us immediately at customerservice@selhyan.com to let us know.
Late fees may be charged beyond the agreed deadline, and we reserve the right to take your security deposit in the event of excessively late return.

We offer several models of kaftans for remote rental. However, please note that some pieces are exclusively available for our showroom in Paris and are not available for remote rental.
Remote rentals can be slightly more expensive than showroom rentals due to additional shipping costs, specialized cleaning for returns, and the logistical constraints associated with managing remote rentals. We strive to maintain competitive rates while providing a quality rental experience, no matter where you are in France.
The stock for remote rental and that of the showroom in Paris are not the same due to their separate management. The showroom in Paris may have stock dedicated to rental on site, which allows it to offer certain specific caftans exclusively to customers who physically visit the store. On the other hand, for remote rental, we manage a centralized stock to respond to orders from our customers throughout France. This means that certain items available in the showroom may not be present in our stock dedicated to remote rental, and vice versa.
BUY CAFTAN ONLINE
Yes, you can return an item within 10 days of receiving it, as long as it has not been used, is in its original box and the tag is still attached to the product.
Some products are available for sale or rental only. Please check the available options on each product sheet.
